Charlie Timmons

Since I can remember I have loved old mystical things. I have also always felt a connection between myself, the cosmos and nature. What a marvel that the patterns seen here on earth in a pine cone or a sea shell are the same patterns we see in ourselves, our solar system and beyond.

My childhood love of old things landed me at the College of Charleston where I graduated with Art History and Historic Preservation degrees. From there I went on to get an associate’s degree in Architectural Engineering Technology from Midlands Technical College. I worked for a while as a project manager for a construction company and then as a kitchen and bath designer. My favorite decision though, was to be a stay at home mom and I have spent the last 15 years growing and caring for my family. During this time astrology found its way to my heart.

Learning astrology has been a surreal experience. It all started when I looked up my Moon sign and wanted to learn about my chart. I was finding memes and short one sentence stereotypes and I felt like there must be more than the superficial things I was coming across. As I started to dig deeper, I found a kaleidoscope of patterns, planets, signs and houses all supported by a rich history that reached back to the cradle of civilization. Astrology in my mind was the original old mystical thing and to me everything about it made perfect sense.

I devoured everything I could on my own and then began taking classes with Kelly Surtees. Along the way I realized that I could spend every day talking about astrology. I truly love sitting down with people and talking about their chart with them. I am so grateful to have the opportunity to share my love of astrology with you!
